In the depths of my despair yesterday, M and S came round, bringing lunch, special posh organic BabyPlum baby food for R, and presents for everyone. Bless, bless, bless them. Their little boy D has had just the same thing as R - horrid for him, but at least S and I were able to compare symptoms. I, at least, was reassured that he isn’t going to die tomorrow.
The children congregated in R’s playpen with all the good toys and entertained themselves as us grownups sat about relaxing and gossiping. Heaven for me, as I haven’t actually been out of the house for 4 days.
I think they quite literally saved my sanity - I hope I can pay them back soon!

You have my sympathies. We had Barf Fest 2004 at our house. You’re lucky to have good friends. I don’t know what I would do without mine!

God honey, it must have been awful. You know you can call me anytime, right? Love ya. xx
L, I am truly lucky, cause I have such good friends. I would be nowhere at all without them.
T - I know, I should have called. Nothing less Christmassy than a whinging reindeer with broken horns and tired hooves! xxxxxxx
