Busybees

Running about seeing friends - a really great weekend so far, and it doesn’t end here, because we’re out to dinner at R’s little friend D’s parents tonight - they wanted an excuse to make a full dress roast dinner and we’re it! Fantastic - I’m game anytime for being the reason for a meal like that. And bugger the diet - I had a diet breakfast, a diet lunch and snacks between so I can have a glass o vino and a potato or two and maybe even a sliver of cake.

 Husband is arranging to take R away to the Med in May to see his grandmother on Husband’s side of the family - amazingly, this will mean I have a week here by myself. I don’t know if I’ll know what to do with all that time. You can yearn for leisure time and try and remember what you did with it when you actually had it, but when you’re offered 10 days straight to do what you please it looks, well… daunting. The house is big and I’m not used to sleeping in it on my own at all. Things I could do…

Go out with galpals for pissed gallop around the local nightclubs

Read books everywhere

Eat nothing but steak, tuna and salads

Gardening!!!

Oh, I think I’ll fill the time somehow….
