Bronchioles? Ouch!

I wasn’t just tired, I was getting ill.
That’s the thing about illness - you forget it can happen to you and then you get blindsided. I normally shrug colds off easily, but this one has gone to my chest and dug itself in. The doctor asked how long I’d been feeling grotty and when I said, ‘Friday,’ he looked a bit old-fashioned. I’d have felt a total fraud bothering him on Friday - but I know loads of people do go straight to the docs when they get a sniffle. Seems a bit pointless, and a bit narcissistic.
So anyway, chest infection, watch out for pneumonia (what does she look like??) and antibiotics for a week. Marvellous!

You want to get in there and stop those darn germs in their tracks with some swift doses of chocolate and alcohol. Pickle ‘em, that’s my advice!
Take care
Things are looking up - antibiotics, while being the Devil’s seed, are quite good value against this sort of thing. I can now speak like a normal person instead of a harlot being garotted by her own silk stocking. D is off work, thank the lord, and as I sit here in the cellar I hear a veritable riot being enacted over my head. Sounds like three dozen Morris men having a punch up.
Chocolate, it must be said, has helped enormously!!
The only nice thing about being sick is the sexy voice. I agree with Truce … a few mojitos and some raspberry martinis (lime and raspberry are fruits, after all) would do a great job of pickling those germs!

Chocolate is also a fruit, I understand, which makes my ingestion of same even more virtuous than I had supposed!!
Feeling, if not better, then ok, and I’m back at work today. Lying around watching films is boring if you don’t have to be somewhere else…
