Mother and I have decided to go to Edinburgh for her birthday weekend - a girls’ jolly to the most beautiful city in Britain. Excellent!!! Staying at a gorgeous little boutique hotel, 7 Danube Street, and shopshopshopping - Jenners, to name but one establishment! Champagne Afternoon Tea at the Palm Court at the Balmoral Hotel, galleries, exhibitions, dinners, perhaps even a show. Princes Street Gardens. The old town. Oh, I cannot wait.
