My son, the label hound

…but not in the way you’d think.

He loves labels. The silky soft ones particularly. He’ll take a piece of clothing, turn it this way and that and inside out, looking for the label. When he finds it, he puts the label on his top lip and rubs it back and forth, his eyes turn inwards and he drifts away…. you can see it happening.

If he’s upset, give him a label. To soothe him at night, a label.
