The rain falls mainly…. here

So it would appear that this weekend we’re all due to be washed out to sea.

We’re supposed to be driving down to Sussex to see the parents. This is, according to the AA, A Bad Idea. The roads to Brighton are festooned along their length by rain warnings. The roof of the unit is currently resounding to the sound of a million ants all applauding madly. I love rain. You know I love rain. But not to drive in. And to make matters worse I didn’t bring my coat to work so I’m dressed a la a Summer’s day. Stupid me, as this is Britain in June… what the hell was I thinking?!
