Well, lovelies, we’re off to the ‘burgh and I will be out of commission for a couple or three days.
Mum has already started exclaiming about how much things are going to cost, as if she wasn’t planning to spend a gazillion quid on clothes in Harvey Nicks and Jenners.
She’s offered to pay for tea at the Palm Court at the Balmoral Hotel. So I didn’t tell her it’s £22 a head. That would just be cruel. No, I’ll tell her after she’s eaten the sandwiches. Hehheh!
I will post pics, you may be sure of it.
I aim to get on the plane with a copy of Hello! magazine and a small bottle of Bollinger. As far as I’m concerned, my weekend is going to cost whatever and I’ll sort it out later. Shopping rocks!!!

And it did too, Jen - I had to pack quite a lot of my new clothes into my handbag to come home with… well, it’s a big bag, and thank the lord for that!
