Thought I’d change the old summery header - it isn’t snowing here, but I wish it was - Robodad was chipping ice off his driveway in plate-sized chunks yesterday - I wish! I love I love I love snow!
This pic is from last February - no doubt we’ll have to wait till next February till we get even a speck of the white stuff…
I love snow too! We get some lovely fluffy white flakes that make really nice snowmen, but then a chinook comes and melts it all. I wish it would get nice and freezing cold for a couple of weeks to kill all of the bugs.

I really hope and pray for snow. It raises my spirits so immensely, I don’t know why - perhaps remembrances of childhood!
Woke up this morning to about 10 cm. I should send you a picture .before it melts.. it’s really quite pretty.
piereth, what a gorgeous picture! I so miss times like this. I can just imagine the stillness of the air, the sense of footsteps mufled in snow, and the glorious soft light, filtered through snow.
Thank you , OmbusBen! I went out that day and spent the whole day taking pics, literally stunned and drunk with beauty. The snow only stayed one day, it was just like an unexpected day’s holiday. Everyone was out, playing hookey from work, enjoying themselves!
