Sky+ installed today - it’s so infernally clever and cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.
I have managed to set it to record every episode of House MD for the remainder of the series.
And if you miss something important on The X-Files because Mulder’s muttering, you can rewind it and play it again.
Too cool to live long. This is, I realise, NOT cutting-edge technology for anyone but me. However, that doesn’t signify - I’m genuinely thrilled by it.
I would love that! I’ve also heard that you can type in a name (say … David Groh) and if there is any show on with him in it, it will automatically tape it for you. Is that right? Or am I dreaming.
I know it’s early to start thinking about it, but that would be a great family gift for Christmas!
I wish it were that clever, alas not! But it;s clever enough… my episode of House is sitting there in the box thingy, just waiting for hubby to get back from the restaurant with our indian takeaway. Hooray!
ooooh, I would love Sky+ (or the Aussie equivalent: Foxtel +) but I just can’t afford it at the moment. Sounds like a marvel though, and fatally addictive…
